The case against a Qld mum, who along with her co-accused allegedly burnt down a home she bought at a council unpaid rates auction has returned to court.

A mother charged with burning down her home and attempting to defraud Suncorp of more than $600,000, and her co-accused, will fight their allegations in a trial next month.
Lani Jay Hilder, 31, is accused of deliberately torching a house, which she bought during an unpaid Rockhampton Regional Council rates auction.
The blaze destroyed the 252 Grubb St, Koongal home and Aboriginal artworks on August 6, 2022.
She is further accused of attempting to fraudulently obtain $606,978 from Suncorp Group Ltd two days later.
Ms Hilder, and her co-accused Mackay man Clyde Kayser Shepheard, are both charged with one count each of arson and attempted fraud.
Ms Hilder previously entered not guilty pleas through her lawyer during a committal hearing in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court in July 2024.
In an update in the case in Rockhampton District Court on April 11, the court their charges have been listed for a five-day trial starting on May 12.
The pair remain on bail.
