The crash at Bakers Creek occurred about three and a half hours after a fatal crash at Kuraby just after midnight that claimed the life of a 30-year-old man died.

Police say the vehicle the man was driving westbound on Beenleigh Rd left the road and crashed into a light pole near Pioneer Dr. He died at the scene.

It came in a horror 36 hours on South East Queensland roads, with a 12-year-old boy critically injured in Brisbane’s east on Thursday morning, while a motorcyclist was killed on the Warrego Hwy at Dinmore and a Coorparoo man was killed in a crash at Highgate Hill, both on Wednesday night.

More to come.
