Moranbah firefighters battled blaze at Archer Drive unit

A Moranbah unit has been gutted after a blaze that threatened to consume the entire complex.
Fire crews worked into the night to stop the roaring blaze at 28A Archer Drive.
Emergency crews were called to the complex at 11.40pm Monday where one unit was “fully alight”.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews battled the blaze in the back unit until 1am, stopping it from spreading to the adjacent front unit.
She said crews remained on scene until 2am dampening hot spots.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said one man in his 30s suffered superficial burns and was taken to Moranbah Hospital in a stable condition.
She said the second occupant was uninjured and did not require any medical treatment.
Police believe the fire is not suspicious.
