Gregory George Lowe charged with distributing child exploitation material
A man has allegedly been caught distributing vile computer-generated images of children multiple times.
A Mackay man is accused of having and sending out explicit computer-generated images of children.
Gregory George Lowe appeared in Mackay Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 11 charged with five counts of distributing the material.
He is also charged with one count of possessing the computer-generated content on a hidden network or anonymous service, an offence which carries a maximum term of 20 years in prison.
The court heard the man allegedly first sent the material between December 29 2023 and May 6 2025 in South Mackay.
It’s further alleged he distributed the child abuse material on four other occasions between April 30 and October 30 this year.
Mr Lowe, who represented himself, was given four days to file an application before his case was adjourned to be committed to the District Court.
