The Auto Show, HotWheels and drag racing is back in Mackay for another exhibition for the motoring enthusiasts.
The Big Boys Toys Expo will be held in Mackay for another year with increased stands and extra attraction pieces on show for its biggest weekend yet.
Big Boys Toys Expo founder Lance Collyer said Mackay was his favourite location to host the event.
“I began Big Boys Toys in Mackay, and it really is like a second home to me,” he said.
“I’m excited to be able to increase the space this year, and have found some extra products to bring in, extra cars and attraction pieces.”
A father-and-son drifting show will be the highlight of the expo with Matt Mingay and Madzy back in the HotWheels car.
The pair showcased an exciting performance of stunts and drifts in last year’s show, and Mr Collyer said he was excited to bring the combination back.
“It’s been a tough 18 months for entertainers and events, with so many cancelled and postponed across the country as we dealt with the pandemic,” he said.
“I’m just grateful I can work with these brilliant entertainers and bring them together for this event and give Mackay families a day out to remember.”
The expo will be held at the Mackay Showgrounds on August 7-8.
