Northern Beaches Burrito Bar opens with new management, new menu

From new rolled tacos to snack-sized burritos, it looks like there’s something for everyone at the refreshed Burrito Bar in Mackay.

The Burrito Bar in the Northern Beaches is under new management and the shift has come with a tantalising new menu that offers some intriguing innovations in the world of Mexican fast-food.

The refreshed counter-serve and dine-in store is offering new burrito flavours such as cheeseburger burritos and beef and bacon burritos.

It is also launching taquitos, or rolled tacos, and rollitos, or snackable burritos.

There are vegan and vegetarian options and the usual Mexican classics such as nachos are back as well.

Since the store opened in 2021, Burrito Bar has sold 35,000 burritos and a spokeswoman for the company said the business was keen to prove itself again to the community.

“We acknowledge we may have had customers who have been disappointed in the past, however our new management team is in place and we are keen to prove ourselves to the local community,” she said.

“The new management at Burrito Bar Rural View will continue to bring what makes Burrito Bar loved across all locations, friendly service and delicious modern Mexican.”

The store is open now and serving customers.

The business was born in Brisbane and now boasts 43 stores across Queensland, NSW, Victoria and the ACT.

The spokesman said further expansion in Mackay was a possibility.

“There is currently a lot of interest in expanding into Mackay but we are still looking at potential sites at this stage.
