Motorists are being urged to avoid a major Ipswich road with police closing it in both directions as paramedics deal with a two-vehicle crash.
One man has been taken to Ipswich Hospital with head lacerations and abdominal pain after a vehicle and motorcycle crash on Warwick Road at 6.17am.
Two Queensland Ambulance Service crews were on scene with the critical care paramedics stood down.
Police are also on scene, closing Warwick Road in both directions outside the Ipswich Showgrounds.
