A man was seriously injured and a child and three others were taken to hospital following the crash on Bells Creek Arterial Rd at Corbould Park on July 27.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man, in his 20s, suffered serious arm, leg and possibly abdominal injuries and was cut free from the wreckage of his vehicle by firefighters after the crash occurred about 7am.

He was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition, she said.

A woman in her 30s was taken to the same hospital in a stable condition with neck pain, along with a child and two other adults, all in stable conditions, the spokeswoman said.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the Bells Creek Arterial Rd, near where the Pierce Ave bridge intersects above it, at Corbould Park at 7.06am to reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said six people were being assessed at the scene.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said an adult man was trapped by the legs inside one vehicle, but was freed at 7.51am.

It comes days after a ute collided with a Currimundi Special School bus, which sparked traffic chaos during peak hour at Birtinya on July 24.
