A spokesperson for the Princess Alexandra Hospital said Ms Brandsden-Bayliss was in a critical but stable condition in ICU and still in a coma.
Friends and family on social media shared their support for the Ipswich teen.
“She is very popular, well respected and loyal,” one close friend said.
“She is just very well loved. Everybody calls her ‘Baby Bayliss’.
“We hope you pull through this, love you my girl, praying for you,” another friend shared.
“Everyone loves you and is hoping you are OK.”
The Good Friday crash was the second fatal crash a partner of Ms Brandsden-Bayliss has been involved in within the last five years.
Her former partner Jay Rice was one of three people who died in a crash on the famous Moorooka Magic Mile in 2018 — Tara was not in the car at the time.
The crash involving Ms Brandsden-Bayliss at the weekend was one many over the Easter break.
Acting Assistant Police Commissioner Chris Stream said two people died and there were 76 crash injuries this Easter Weekend on Queensland roads.
Mr Stream said the impact of these crashes was tragic and significant to the community.
“The impacts of these crashes are widespread throughout our community not only with those who must deal with losing a loved one, but also those coming to terms with lifelong injuries,” he said.
“It is a real reminder that your actions on the road can have real consequences and our thoughts and condolences go out to the families of those impacted by road accidents this Easter.”
