Police search for Shadow the miniature horse, missing from Minden

The “distraught” owners of a miniature pony, the subject of a missing horse investigation that has now spanned one year, are still holding out hope he will be returned to them. Have you seen him?

Shadow the beloved miniature horse is still missing from his family home west of Brisbane, with police unable to track him down one year on.

According to Queensland Police Service, they have been looking for Shadow the miniature horse ever since he went missing from his home paddock in Minden, Queensland, in late October last year, 2022.

According to police, Shadow was last seen on October 30, 2022.

The year-long search for beloved Shadow has been to no avail though, with police again reaching out and asking for community assistance.

Last year there was a moment of hope that the horse had been spotted after police called for local help but the tip proved unfruitful.

Shadow was described as a blue-eyed 35.5″ silver bay frame overo miniature horse with white near the side of his front hood and white off the side of his rear hoof.

They said Shadow’s family were understandably still distraught over his disappearance.

They said anyone who might have seen Shadow or know of his whereabouts, could contact police.
