Ipswich courts have slapped down sentences to a number of drug dealers, this year busting a woman who sold meth to an undercover cop and a man with $9000 worth of party drugs. Now, these 2021 drug dealers can be named. Full list

Over the course of 2021 multiple people from across the Ipswich district fronted court after they were caught dealing dangerous drugs.
From a woman who sold meth to an officer, to a man who left a trail of weed bags in his wake, here’s a look at some of the cases that passed through the Ipswich District and Magistrates courts:
FELICITY KOFFAL
A 36-year-old woman fronted Ipswich court in March after she sold half a gram of meth to an undercover cop at the Lowood Hotel.
Farm worker Felicity Koffal first came to the attention of officers after she sent messages to a person of interest during a police investigation.
The court heard Koffal sold drugs to fund her $100 a day drug addiction.
After Koffal pleaded guilty to 12 supply charges, she was sentenced to 18-months jail with immediate parole.
JOSEPH LOKOLONG
A Goodna dealer’s operation unravelled after he left behind a trail of marijuana in an attempt to ditch his drug stash.
Police officers saw several small bags of weed fall from Joseph Lokolong’s pockets as he walked past a Surfers Paradise hotel.
Officers ended up finding a cookie crumb trail of 19 clip seal bags.
The 24-year-old man was up for a string of crimes and pleaded guilty to the following charges in January.
Supplying drugs, possessing drugs, serious assault, and obstructing police.
Lokolong was sentenced to 30 days behind bars.
SCOTT JAMES GORDON
A massive stash of party drugs with a street value of over $9000 was uncovered at a 22-year-old man’s Ipswich home.
Goodna drug dealer Scott James Gordon had 5.5g of pure MDMA powder and 484g of marijuana when police raided his home.
Gordon pleaded guilty to possessing and supplying drugs, possessing drug utensils, possessing $8115 of drug money and knuckledusters.
The man was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment with immediate parole.
ANGUS CHEYNE DAVIE
An Ipswich ‘religious cult leader’ was sentenced to two years jail after spending five years dealing a range of psychedelic drugs.
The Ipswich court heard in November 54-year-old Angus Cheyne Davie sold DMT, LSD, magic mushrooms, marijuana, and other illegal substances.
The court heard the father threw massive parties with shamans and also sold drugs to minors.
Davie pleaded guilty to supplying and possessing drugs, supplying to a minor, possessing restricted and controlled drugs, and weapon possession.
ASHLEY BOYD PALMER
After officers intercepted a Springwood tradie’s phone he was quickly charged with supplying meth, MDMA, and weed.
Police’s attention was drawn to Ashley Boyd Palmer due to his connection to two known drug traffickers.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to supplying and possessing drugs, failing to dispose of a needle, possessing drug utensils, and items used in the commission of crime.
The construction worker was sentenced to two years jail with immediate parole.
AMBER LOUISE SCHROEN
The analysis of a phone led to a Lockyer woman pleading guilty to 22 counts of supplying drugs in August.
Amber Louise Schroen was arrested and spent 254 days of pre-sentence custody in jail before being sentenced to 12-months jail with immediate parole.
Over four months, the 20-year-old sold Meth, MDMA, and marijuana over four months.
CASSANDRA CARROLL
An Ipswich mum was busted selling meth and fronted Ipswich court in October where she pleaded guilty to 30 supply charges.
Cassandra Hope Carroll also pleaded guilty to possessing something used in the commission of crime.
The 44-year-old Leichhardt woman was sentenced to two years imprisonment and will be released on parole in April, 2022.
JOHNATHON GRIFFITHS
During a major police investigation called Operation Romeo Instance, which cracked down on illegal weapons and drugs in regional areas of Queensland – an Ipswich man caught the attention of investigators.
Ipswich man Johnathon Neil Griffiths was busted dealing meth and guns after police tapped his phone.
The 36-year-old fronted court in August where he pleaded guilty to many charges including supplying drugs and weapons, possessing ammunition and drug utensils, and drug driving.
Griffiths was sentenced to nine-month suspended jail term and placed on a 12-month probation order.
BROOKE ERIN KITCHING
A Bundamba hairdresser fronted Ipswich District court in February and pleaded guilty to supplying meth in 2019.
The court heard the Ipswich mum, Brooke Erin Kitching was “scared straight” when police pulled her in for questioning and admitted to sending incriminating text messages.
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to supplying drugs and being in possession of anything used in connection dealing drugs.
Kitching was placed on suspended 18 month jail term.
WAYNE MERRICK
Ipswich dad Wayne Steven Merrick was released from jail and began selling meth just months after his release.
Police searched the former forklift driver’s Bellbird Park home and found incriminating text messages on his phone.
In April the 41-year-old pleaded guilty to supplying drugs, and possessing a phone used to supply said drugs.
Merrick’s parole was pulled and he was sentenced to 12 months in jail.
