A man in his 60s is in a critical condition after being wedged between the scissor lift he was operating and a wall at an Ipswich business on Thursday morning.

Paramedics are working to save the life of a man who was jammed between a scissor lift and a wall at a business in Ipswich this morning.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was assessed as critical at the scene before being rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was expected to be treated for life-threatening injuries to his abdomen, chest and head.
Staff at a Torch St business called emergency services just after 7am, with the scene described as horrific.
The accident was believed to have taken place near an entrance to Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School.
