Snake bite sends Boreen Point resident to hospital

A Boreen Point resident has been taking to hospital after suffering a snake bite at their home on Sunday afternoon (July 4).
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were called to the scene of the bite, reported on a private property at about 1:45pm.
They assessed the patient at the scene and took them from there to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
The age and gender of the reported victim, as well as the type of snake involved, were not reported.
