The identities of two Curra men charged over an alleged armed attack at the township north of Gympie home which left one person in hospital have been revealed.
Christopher James Dolan, 45, and Joshua Paul Schippers, 38, are each facing two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed and in company and one count of threatening violence over the alleged Saturday, November 2 incident.
Police will allege the pair, along with a 35-year-old woman understood to be facing the same charges, went to the home on Gleneagles Dr about 6pm while armed with a knife and baton.
They allegedly attacked the home’s occupants, a 67-year-old man and a 52-year-old man, whom they knew.
The 67-year-old is understood to have suffered a laceration to his hand and arm and was taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition, and the 52-year-old declined further treatment.
The three accused were arrested a short time after the alleged attack, not far from the Gleneagles Dr property.
Mr Dolman was granted bail at an initial Gympie Magistrates Court appearance on November 4.
Mr Schippers was denied bail.
The two men are scheduled to appear next at the Gympie Magistrates Court on January 20, 2025.
