Daniel Neil MacDonald pleaded guilty in Gympie Magistrates Court on Monday to contravening a police direction.
From a drill to cars and a caravan: ‘Bizarre’ crime spree revealed
MacDonald visited the Imbil Railway Hotel on November 3, demanding to see his ex girlfriend, who worked there, and her current boyfriend after an evening of drinking.

When he was asked to leave, he walked out of the building but stayed on the grounds in an undercover area, police prosecutor Vicki Kennedy-Grills said.
Police were called at 8.10pm and gave him a direction to stay 500m away from the pub for 12 hours.
“That’s easy,” MacDonald said to the officers.
He was taken home to Kandanga by police and argued with the officers during the ride.
He was given several warnings and eventually began staring at one of the officers, saying his name repeatedly, the court heard.
MacDonald walked away when the officer took out his handcuffs.
After the officers returned to the Imbil Police Station, MacDonald appeared at the station’s front door to argue with police again.
With the pub only 200m away, MacDonald breached the police direction and was subsequently arrested.
He told the court the officer “tried his best” to not put MacDonald in a situation that would lead to his arrest and he regretted approaching the police station to “further his discussions”.
“I respect this country and its laws,” MacDonald said.
He is employed at CBD Construction currently working on the Gympie Bypass, he told the court.
MacDonald was fined $250 and no conviction was recorded.
