Man critically injured in bike crash on Yabba Creek Rd, Imbil
A 48-year-old man has been flown to Brisbane after suffering serious injuries when his bike crashed near the centre of a Mary Valley town. A second crash also occurred on the Sunshine Coast.

A man has been critically injured in a late-night bike crash at Imbil in the Mary Valley.
The crash happened on Yabba Creek Rd about 10pm Friday.
The 48-year-old Mt Archer man was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition with chest and spinal injuries.
He was on a 2008 Harley Davidson travelling westbound along the road when he came off on approach to bridge number five.
A passing driver stopped to assist and raised the alarm.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward especially if they witnessed the motorbike in the moments before the incident.
Also overnight in the Sunshine Coast region, a man in his 40s was transported to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition following a stable condition with back pain following a multi-vehicle crash on National Park Road and Donaldson Road at 10.17pm.
A second patient declined transport to hospital.
