Man crashed car into embankment in Kilkivan, suffering potentially life threatening injuries
A man in his 60s has crashed into an embankment, west of Gympie, and was taken to hospital with potentially life threatening head injuries.

A man suffered “potentially life threatening injuries” after his vehicle crashed into an embankment west of Gympie.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the site about 2.50pm Saturday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said paramedics assessed the driver, a man in his 60s, for “potentially life threatening” head injuries.
It is understood the man hit his head as a result of the crash on Kilkivan Tansey Road, three kilometres west of the Kilkivan town centre.
Ambulance, police, and two fire crews attended the scene.
The man was taken to hospital while fire crews stayed behind to help with traffic controlling the area.
