A Gympie man has been airlifted with multiple injuries from a farm northeast of the city on Sunday afternoon.
The Sunshine Coast based LifeFlight helicopter crew airlifted the elderly man to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital just after 3.30pm.

It is believed the man, aged in his seventies, had been riding the vehicle on a rural property when the crash occurred.
Due to the hilly terrain the man was treated at the scene by QAS paramedics before being transported to the helicopter, which had landed nearby.
He was then stabilised before being flown to SCUH in a stable condition.
