From the Tin Can Bay Esplanade to the richest street in Rainbow Beach, here are some of the Gympie region’s most expensive and luxurious pads, who owns them and what they paid.
Gympie
Don't miss out on the headlines from Gympie. Followed categories will be added to My News.
The Gympie region is one of the fastest growing in Queensland as people from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast race to escape growing populations and skyrocketing house prices.
As property prices here head north, some luxurious pads, particularly on the Cooloola Coast, have million dollar price tags, with new online data revealing how much was spent on the expensive homes, and who they were bought by.
From private beach access to waterfront lifestyle, these are some of the region’s most stunning homes, who owns them and the price they paid.
Rainbow Beach

Located on what could be argued is Rainbow Beach’s most expensive street, this 592 square metre property was sold to a finance business from Sydney for $1.47 million in November 2012.
While there are no names to the property, it was bought by Sydney finance company Budburst Capital, known at that time as JM & LJ Investments Pty Ltd.
