Indoor heated pool at Gympie aquatic centre to close for renovations

Gympie Regional Council has apologised in announcing that the aquatic centre’s heated indoor pool will be closed for all over next week.

The heated indoor pool at the Gympie Aquatic Centre will be closed for repairs from June 21-28.

The indoor pool at Gympie’s Aquatic Recreation Centre will be temporarily closed from Monday, June 21, to replace the plastic grating around the perimeter of the pool.

The repairs are expected to take a week, with the pool expected to reopen at 5.30am on Monday, June 28.

The gym and café will still be open so visitors can still get their daily workout in or catch up over a coffee.

Gympie Regional Council has apologised for the inconvenience.

It is the second time since opening in 2017, that the heated pool has had to be closed for repairs.
