Adam and Sam Bradshaw, the faces of Jacaranda Family Dental, are on the cusp of opening their new facilities after an eight-year journey since launching their practice.

A dentistry couple who have “taken the plunge” to expand after more than eight years are on the cusp of reopening their glamorous new facilities.

Adam, 37, and Sam Bradshaw, 35, are well-known faces in Gympie as the owners of Jacaranda Family Dental and the Business of the Year winners in 2022.

Jacaranda Family Dental have taken up the space of the old Supercheap Auto building in Gympie.

They opened their own dentist practice in 2014 at Southside Town Centre and quickly outgrew their facilities.

Ms Bradshaw said they had been looking for a new space for five years until they inspected the old Supercheap Auto building in March, 2022.

The new facilities of Jacaranda Family Dental have tripled in size.

After always holding back and wondering if it was the right choice, the biggest challenge was deciding to “take the plunge” and expand, she said.

The couple had graduated from the University of Queensland together and previously worked in various practices, stretching from Brisbane to Kingaroy and even Rockhampton.

The practice has almost 30 staff members now and their facilities have tripled in size along with more parking spaces.

Ms Bradshaw said she loves “getting to know the person in the dental chair,” hearing their stories and genuinely caring for their patients

The couple had a choice between Gympie and Ipswich to initially set up their business but settled on Gympie.

Ms Bradshaw said the area is a “beautiful place to live” and the people make their jobs “so much more enjoyable.”

The couple are excited to show their new facilities to both their staff as well as their clients and are “very proud and overjoyed” to reopen.

Ms Bradshaw is an oral health therapist and Mr Bradshaw works as a dentist.

The couple have been together for 12 years and have two young children.

The new practice will open on January 9, 2023.
