Bronte O’Sullivan, Summer Lipke crowned Gympie Showgirls for 2022 Show Ball | Photos

Excitement and energy filled the air in the Gympie Pavilion on Saturday as guests, dressed to impress, spent a night enjoying fine food, entertainment, and watched as the Gympie Showgirl winners were crowned. PHOTOS, DETAILS HERE:

The Gympie Pavilion was abuzz with energy on April 23 as hundreds of guests dressed to the nines attended the 2022 Gympie Show Ball.

Up until three weeks ago, the iconic Gympie Show had been cancelled due to Covid mandates; but a shock removal of said mandates suddenly meant the show could go ahead as planned.

On Saturday, hundreds of guests filled the Gympie Pavilion for the annual Gympie Show Ball for a night of live entertainment and fine food, and to watch the crowning of Miss Showgirl and Miss Junior Showgirl.

Katelyn Ford was awarded runner up for Miss Junior Showgirl, while Anita Kirwin was crowned runner up for Miss Showgirl.

But it was Summer Lipke who took home the crown of Miss Junior Showgirl, while Bronte O’Sullivan was crowned Miss Showgirl.

She was also took home Miss Charity Showgirl.

Gympie Show Society President Deb Brown said Bronte was dedicated, to both her community and the Gympie Show.

“Bronte is passionate about her community, the Gympie Show and agriculture; and the importance it has in our region,” she said.
