“A fight between two students occurred today. No weapons were involved and no staff were injured. The incident was resolved extremely quickly therefore a lockdown was not required.
“The situation has been managed in line with the school’s Student Code of Conduct, and the school is working with the children involved and their parents. No further details can be provided due to student privacy issues.”
A police spokesman also confirmed officers had been called to the school, but the situation was under control by the time they arrived.
