A man who was found asleep in his car was one of the latest drink drivers to face Gladstone court.

The following people pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court to either drink driving or drug driving offences.

Neil Colin Smith, 46
Smith blew a reading of .139 after police intercepted him on Gordon Street, Mackay, on March 16.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 22 to drink driving.
With three previous similar offences in the past five years, Smith was fined $900 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for six months.

Bradley James Brown, 46
Brown blew a reading of .055 after he was intercepted by police at Miriam Vale on June 1.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 22 to drink driving and two counts of unlicensed driving.
With one previous similar offence in the past five years, Brown, an underground coal miner, was fined $600 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for three months.

Levi-Jay Samuel Szily, 40
Szily blew a reading of .051 after he was tested by police on Kirkwood Road, Gladstone, on April 27.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 22 to drink driving.
With no similar offending in the past five years, Szily, currently in between jobs, was fined $400 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.

Cameron Anthony Hill, 32
P-plater Hill was on a zero alcohol limit when he blew .032 on the Dawson Hwy, Calliope, on July 6.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 21 to drink driving.
With one similar offence in the past five years, Hill was fined $500 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for three months.

Kenneth Carter, 49
Carter blew a reading of .080 after he was tested by police at Boyne Island on April 21.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 22 to drink driving.
The court heard that Carter came to police attention after they found him asleep in his vehicle at the Wyndham Park carpark.
With no prior offending of this sort, Carter, a chef and father of three, was fined $500 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.

Lennon Darren Morrison, 23
Morrison blew a reading of 0.063 after police intercepted him on Kirkwood Rd, Gladstone, on July 4.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 22 to drink driving.
With no prior similar offending, Morrison, employed, was fined $400 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for one month.

Travis Dean Millhouse, 47
Millhouse had methamphetamine, MDMA and cannabis in his system when police tested him on Toolooa Street, Gladstone, on May 27.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 21 to drug driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Millhouse was fined $650 by Magistrate Mary Buchanan and disqualified from driving for four months.

Basargin had cannabis in his system when he was intercepted by police on QAL Access Rd, South Trees, on May 27.
