Gladstone locals can expect to see a new gym open for business in coming weeks with final instalments wrapping up to deliver a state of the art facility like no other in town.
Developments include the refurbishment of the existing building located on 37 Gladstone Benaraby Road, Toolooa and transforming the property into Stadium Premier Fitness (SPF), making it the second Stadium Collective gym in Central Queensland.
In 2020, childhood friends opened their first independent SPF gym in Emerald, where it instantly gained attraction from the community and continues to thrive due to its diversity.
Two years later a dedicated team of four have put in the hard yards to open a fitness hub to the Gladstone region that “caters to everyone”.
Part owner Travis Stolk said the gym would be open for 24hr access and would offer supervised child-minding while visitors worked out.
“Memberships are currently on sale at an early bird price and casual visit passes will be available also,” Mr Stolk said.
“All of our trainers are highly qualified to deliver a variety of different group classes or personal one-on-one sessions that will suit everyone.
“We have designed the gym layout specifically to work with all attendees and what they are hoping to target while training at Stadium Premier Fitness.”
With an aesthetically pleasing interior and some of the finest equipment waiting to be used, the grand opening can’t come sooner for eager locals.
Gym manager Jenni West said the SPF team was currently in the process of developing an app that would provide members with online workout programs and nutrition plans.
“Members and casual pass visitors will be able to book in and schedule their workouts through an app,” Ms West said.
Final preparations will conclude on Friday, August 19, with an official opening day to be announced shortly after.
