Runners lace up for the OZ RUN

There’s just over two weeks until Gladstone locals take to the line on August 21 to participate in the iconic 2022 Port to Park FunD Run through the beautiful marina parklands.

In 2021 the Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) founded the event for runners, walkers ad families to come together in support of fundraising for local schools and sparking awareness for a worthy cause within the community.

This year, via the Port to Park FunD Run, GPC will support the local CPL – Choice, Passion, Life Organisation which provides employment support to people with disabilities in the Central Queensland region.

Attraction and energy surrounding the fun run has already begun with close to 1500 people registered to attend.

Race goers have the option to participate in either the 9km Koongo Dash starting at 7am or the 3km Yallarm Family Run kicking off 8.30am.

Locals could be in the running to win up to $800 in cash depending on their finish line placing. Picture: Gladstone Ports Corporation.
