From family friendly markets to heart-racing speedway races, there’s no shortage of exciting New Year’s Eve events across the Fraser Coast.

There are several firework shows scheduled across the region, along with events that allow the whole family to get into the holiday spirit.

New Year’s Eve at Enzo’s on the Beach: 4pm onwards

Tickets are required for this 18+ evening of live music from Scoots & The Crew followed by a DJ session from Brisbane-based Mr Smith & Sax.

Hervey Bay RSL: 7pm onwards

Band Forbidden Road will entertain guests ready to rock in the new year between big prize raffles.

Cocktail party at the Boat Club: 7pm onwards

Tickets are required for this Boat Club cocktail party which offers gourmet grazing platters, live music and a complimentary welcome drink.

New Year’s Eve at Poona Hall: 6.30pm onwards

Head along to Poona Hall for a fun night of dancing along to two live bands.

Jade Holland at the Maryborough Sports Club: 8.30pm onwards

A ticket is required to party the night away at the Maryborough Sports Club with Jade Holland.

New Year’s Eve New Vogue Dance, Maryborough Town Hall: 7.30pm onwards

A lucky door prize and an evening of dancing to local band High Noon.

Family friendly events:

New Year’s Eve by the Beach 2022: 10am onwards

Head to Bill Fraser Park for a family friendly day of celebrations including a beachside market and a fireworks display.

Maryborough Cricket Club Family Fun Fair: 5 to 9pm

Food vans, music, side shows and fireworks are on the cards for this NYE celebration at 46 Ariadne St, Maryborough.

Urangan Pier New Year Markets: 7am onwards

Do some last-minute 2022 shopping and support local businesses at the last Urangan Pier markets for the year.

Torquay Beach Community New Year Beach Celebration: 7am onwards

Start the day with a community market starting at 7am along with free family friendly entertainment from 2pm and a fireworks display at 8pm.

New Year’s Eve speedway style: 3pm onwards

Tickets are required for this evening of heart-racing fun and fast cars at the Maryborough Speedway.

New Year’s Eve at Station Domain: 6pm onwards

Family friendly entertainment, mini circus, free train rides, live music and food vendors are all planned for this evening hosted by the Carisbrook Lions Club.
