Teenager arrested in Kawungan over fuel drive-offs in stolen car
A 16-year-old boy will face court in Hervey Bay after he was allegedly spotted driving around in the stolen car by an off-duty police officer.

A teenage boy who allegedly committed a series of fuel drive-offs in a stolen car unlicensed has been charged by police.
Officers from the Maryborough Crime Unit this week arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy with two counts of fraud (dishonestly making off without paying), unlawful use of car and driving without a licence.
Police will allege that between October 3 and 4, the boy went to several businesses and stole fuel and a car.
On October 4, he was allegedly seen by an off-duty police officer driving the stolen car in the Kawungan area.
A short time later police went to an address in Kawungan and found him and the stolen car.
The boy will face Hervey Bay Children’s Court at a later date.
It comes as police arrested another teenage boy in relation to an incident involving a stolen car.
Police confirmed a 4WD was found in Nikenbah, near the Fraser Coast Anglican College, on Tuesday, October 4.
It was allegedly stolen from Point Vernon on Sunday, October 2.
Police said a juvenile had been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
