MARYBOROUGH'S avid golfers have kicked off the new year with a bang on the course.
Dozens of golfers took to the Heritage City's golf course for a fun afternoon of Ambrose golf and to mark the the first Open Day of 2019.
Members also welcomed new golf pro Kurt Watts to the club following the retirement of Kevin Law last year.
The club is due to host another Men's and Ladies Open Day on Sunday, March 3.
