Police still searching for gunmen who shot man at Booral

Police investigating the third in a string of alleged gun crimes on the Fraser Coast have revealed two men are still on the run.

Police are still hunting two gunmen wanted over a shooting at Booral last month.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Police Service said no arrests had been made in regards to the incident on September 2, which happened at a property on Booral Road.

A 47-year-old father was shot in the driveway of the home, receiving an injury to the back of his shoulder.

He was taken to hospital in a serious condition but later released.

Preliminary investigations indicate two men attended the property, approached the man and a verbal altercation ensued.

One of the men was wearing light coloured clothing while the second was wearing dark coloured pants, a light coloured shirt and was about 175cm tall.
