Two occupants of a car that smashed into a power pole on Maryborough Hervey Bay Rd, Walligan are being transported to Hervey Bay Hospital, with concerns live wires are now on the ground.

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of an incident Dundowran Rd and Maryborough Hervey Bay Rd where a car has smashed into a power pole.
The power pole fell over to the side of the road, with concerns from police there may be live wires on the ground.
QAS media confirmed two patients were being looked over at the scene and are now being transported to Hervey Bay Hospital, while QFD said no occupants of the vehicle were entrapped following the crash.
The road is now cleared.
