A crash between a truck with a car-carrying trailer and at least one other vehicle has stopped traffic at a major Bruce Highway intersection.
The crash is impacting the Walker St exit and Alice St off ramp in Maryborough, with the northbound lane currently closed.
Emergency crews were called to the scene about 12:20pm.
As of 1pm no entrapments had been reported, and injuries were unknown, but significant traffic delays were expected.
The crash comes just days after a shocking double fatal at Owanyilla, near Tiaro, closed the Bruce Hwy for more than five hours.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was in Gympie on Monday to announce new funding for the Bruce Highway ahead of this year’s federal election.
