Teens busted by dog squad after alleged burglary in Hervey Bay
Three teenagers - two of them children - have been busted by the dog squad in Hervey Bay after a woman walked in on them allegedly trying to remove a flyscreen in her kitchen.

Three teenage boys have allegedly been caught by the Fraser Coast dog squad following a Hervey Bay burglary.
Police allege several people tried to remove a fly screen from a kitchen window at an Urraween home about midnight on January 7, when they woke up the homeowner, causing the group to flee on foot.
An officer and a police dog from the Dog Squad Unit then tracked and located a number of teenagers about 700m away in long grass, where they were arrested and taken to the Hervey Bay Police Station.

A 16-year-old Eli Waters boy was charged with attempting to enter a dwelling with intent at night offence.
He is scheduled to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court later this month.
A 15-year-old Kawungan boy was dealt with under the Youth Justice Act regarding this matter.
An 18-year-old Urraween man was charged with attempting to enter a dwelling with intent at night and is scheduled to appear at the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on January 25.
