Fence ripped out as car crashes through front yard
Police are investigating after a young driver crashed through a fence and into a family’s front yard. It happened within an hour of another crash nearby.

A four-wheel drive has ploughed through a Colorbond fence and crashed into a front yard at Hervey Bay.
The white car bearing P plates took out a section of fence and could be seen damaged in the front garden of the Areca Drive home at Kawungan on Friday afternoon.
Multiple police could be seen speaking with a group of people including a woman who had come out of the home holding a baby.
About a dozen onlookers were standing out in the street watching after hearing the commotion.
On Saturday, a police spokeswoman confirmed investigations were continuing and no charges had yet been laid.
About an hour after the Kawungan crash, emergency crews were called to another crash at Pt Vernon.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, a woman was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition following the two-vehicle crash on Wattle Street at 6.20pm.
