A multi-vehicle crash involving a caravan and a vehicle fire has shut down the Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road, with one man rushed to hospital.

A multi-vehicle crash blocked the Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road, disrupting traffic at Susan River around midday.
The crash, which occurred around 11:55am on Thursday, involved multiple vehicles and a caravan.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said four fire crews initially responded to the scene when one of the vehicles had caught fire; it was soon brought under control.
Two fire crews remained at the scene as emergency services continue their work.
Both lanes of the road remained closed.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said one man who was experiencing neck pain was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in stable condition.
A police spokeswoman said no critical injuries were reported, but emergency crews were still on the scene at 1pm and traffic was being diverted.
