Paramedics have been called to the third crash involving a car into a tree on the Fraser Coast in less than a week.

The crash happened at the intersection of Torbanlea-Pialba Road and Walkers Lane on Monday at 8.30am.

Crews attended the scene and one patient was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.

It is the third crash involving a car hitting a tree on the Fraser Coast in the past week.

A mum and a toddler were involved in a single-car crash into a tree on Friday.

The crash happened on Churchill Mine Road at Walliebum about 8.30am.

A man is also lucky to be alive after he was taken to hospital following a crash into a tree Glenwood on Wednesday.
