A disused service station site at the corner of Boat Harbour Drive and Main Street in Hervey Bay is being redeveloped into a drive-through coffee shop.
The site, owned by the Wicks family, which also runs adjoining business Bob’s Tyres, has been vacant for several years and was most recently a BP service station and before that, a Mobil.
An O’Rourke Constructions spokesperson confirmed the company was carrying out the construction, which was likely to be finished by late January 2024.
It’s understood the likely tenant will be Miss Cocoas, which is currently located at the Shell service station a few hundred metres away, but no lease has yet been signed.
