The Gold Coast’s first new water slides in five years, the Fully 6 slides are the showpiece of a major revamp of WhiteWater World, delivered as part of a mission to “bring the wow factor” back to Dreamworld.
This year the park also unveiled the Sky Voyager flying theatre, the first major new attraction in years.
Dreamworld’s chief strategy officer Paul Callander said it was an exciting time for the theme park, which has already unveiled a $50 million redevelopment, including plans for new high-speed roller-coasters.
“We’ve kicked off summer with a bang and plan to continue … with big and exciting line ups for the 2020 year,” he said.
While the slides will be open to the public from today, the official opening will be celebrated in February with the park hosting its biggest ever pool party.
