DREAMWORLD have announced the appointment of a former Dracula’s cast member as their new Entertainment Manager.
Gold Coast local Nicole James has also worked with Royal Caribbean Cruises and toured as show manager for the Great Moscow Circus in a 29-year career as an entertainment professional.
Ms James says she intends to draw on that experience to “create magic” at Dreamworld, which has recently seen a surge in attendance figures.
“I am obsessed with all things entertainment, from creation to performance, and I have developed into my niche by being able to oversee every aspect of the show concept while being part of the creation behind it all,” Ms James said.
“Dreamworld enticed me to further develop in my career, but mostly I think I can bring so much of my background experience and use it to really improve the overall product within the park, it excites me to apply my learnings to create more magic here.”

Ms James said she planned to create “memorable” new shows at the Coomera theme park.
“At the end of the day, our focus is each guest that comes through the gate and memorable shows, meeting beloved characters and meaningful entertainment can spark those emotions that make someone’s experience unforgettable,” she said.
Dreamworld has invested heavily in new attractions in recent months. The $20 million Sky Voyager ride has been the park’s most popular attraction since opening in August, while six new water slides are due to open soon at the adjoining WhiteWater World.
The park has also announced plans to build a new $30 million roller coaster.
