A DALBY dad has faced the magistrate again less than a month after he was sentenced for drug charges in the district court.

A DALBY father-of-seven has faced the magistrate less than a month after he was sentenced for drug possession in the district court.
Derek Dean Latham, 42, attended court charged with 20 offences, which included allegedly supplying drugs, obstructing police, affray, committing a public nuisance, unlawful weapons charges, and common assault.
Latham was sentenced in distrct court last month after he was caught with half a kilogram of marijuana in his possession.
Police found Latham weighing drugs on a set of scales in his kitchen when they executed their search warrant.
Defence lawyer Michael McElhinny told the court Latham had several matters forwarded and finalised in the Dalby District Court, but in relation to the May 14 common assault charge, he would be pleading not guilty.
Mr McElhinny said Latham would however be pleading guilty to the remaining charges.
Magistrate Roger Stark ordered for the brief of evidence to be prepared for the common assault charge.
The matter was then adjourned until November 10.
