Thieves continue to plague the Dalby area after two worksites were broken into by offenders, while an expensive electric bicycle was uncovered during a police raid.

The first break-in occurred between July 8—12, where thieves attended a work site along Wilds Road in Dalby.

Police say the offenders drilled holes in the fuel tanks of a Caterpillar grader and roller, and stole diesel before fleeing.

On July 17, thieves gained access to a coal seam gas well site along Ducklo Gulera Road, Ducklo.

They stole deep-cycle batteries and a security camera.

Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.

Police were however able to locate a stolen $4000 electric bicycle following a raid at a Pratten Street home on July 28.

A 45-year-old Dalby man was charged with stealing and receiving tainted property, and will appear in Dalby Magistrates Court in August.

Dalby police continued to target drivers over the course of July, with 246 traffic infringements issued.

Up to 11 alleged drug drivers and six drink drivers were detected across the district during the blitz.

Of those interceptions, three drivers allegedly recorded a blood alcohol concentration of more than 0.1.

Police pulled over a 24-year-old Dalby man along Drayton Street on July 4, where he allegedly returned a reading of 0.107 BAC.

A 42-year-old Dalby man was then intercepted on July 16 along Myall Street, and allegedly provide a positive alcohol reading of 0.103 BAC.

The next day a 20-year-old Dalby man was allegedly busted driving with a BAC of 0.103 on Branch Creek Road in Dalby.

They were all charged with drink driving, and will face court in August.
