When Carolyn Moriarty will be sworn in as Isaac region councillor

After being elected uncontested, Clermont’s Carolyn Moriarty will be sworn in as Councillor for the Isaac region, Division 6, in August.
Mrs Moriarty is part of the Clermont community and passionate about advocating for rural and regional Queensland and highlighting the divide between these areas and the south east corner.
Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker congratulated Mrs Moriarty on her new role.
“Electoral Commission Queensland declared the polls with Carolyn Moriarty being successful as the new Councillor for Division 6, uncontested,” she said.
“Firstly, I would like to personally congratulate Carolyn on her new appointment.
“Secondly, there is a process that must be followed.
“A Declaration of Office will be announced soon to officially have Ms Moriarty sworn in as a councillor for the Isaac region, representing Clermont.”
Council CEO Jeff Stewart-Harris is legislatively required to hold the ceremony, which has been announced for Wednesday, August, 25.
