Emergency services are at the scene of two crashes on the same road between Gladstone and Bundaberg, where a caravan has rolled and a second accident has occurred about 80m away.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police had responded to a single-vehicle crash on Lowmead Road near the Watson Road intersection at Rosedale at 11.25am. A caravan had rolled, and there were no serious injuries.

The Rosedale-Lowmead Road runs from the Bruce Highway at Miriam Vale to Bundaberg and is the route for people to get to the beachside towns of Agnes Waters and 1770.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said there are two crashes on the Lowmead/Rosedale Road – the single vehicle crash in the Rosedale township and another near Watalgan, which was a nose-to-tail crash.

She said QAS were assessing four patients -two of which are children – who were all in a stable condition.

The spokeswoman said an adult female and a primary-school-aged boy were being transported to the Bundaberg Hospital.

The QPS spokeswoman said police were organising traffic control as one lane of the road is blocked.

One Queensland Fire Department crew is on scene.
