A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said both lanes of the Capricorn Highway are closed after the accident.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said the man was not trapped.
One crew of firefighters arrived at 12.20 and another is expected to attend shortly.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man in his 40s is being assessed at the scene and is in a stable condition.
