Police are investigating an alleged shooting in Central Queensland with a man taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing after a man was shot in Gladstone.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the man, in his 30s, had surgery following the alleged Tuna Street shooting.
No charges had been laid as of March 11.
A Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said the man remained in Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition.
Police took a man into custody after reports of shots allegedly being fired at Toolooa in Gladstone on Sunday night.
Police said initial investigations indicate about 11.02pm on Sunday, a man in his 30s was standing on Tuna Street when he was allegedly shot in the abdomen.
The man was taken to Gladstone Hospital with serious injuries.
A 33-year-old man, who police allege is known to the victim, left the scene on a motorcycle and was taken into custody a short time later at the intersection of Dixon Drive and Dalrymple Drive.
Police say the man is helping them with their enquiries.
A crime scene was declared in Tuna Street.
Investigations are continuing.
