Man flown to hospital after serious motorcycle crash at Kalpowar, Qld

A man has been airlifted to hospital after a serious crash between a motorcycle and a car in state forestry.

A man has been flown to hospital on Tuesday afternoon after a ute and motorcycle collided.

The LifeFlight helicopter was tasked at 1.38pm to Kalpowar Road south of Borilla State Forest in the North Burnett region.

The crew landed in a paddock on a farm near the scene.

The LifeFlight critical care doctor, a flight paramedic and Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the man in his 40s for a significant leg injury.

Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire Department also attended.

The patient was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
