A Queensland man who was hit by a falling tree and “incapacitated” endured a night in agony on a rural property and was only discovered on Saturday morning.

A man has laid injured overnight after being struck by a tree on a property at Eidsvold West.
A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said the man, aged in his 30s, had been discovered by people on Saturday morning.
She said the man was not trapped under the tree but had been incapacitated by his injuries.
A rescue helicopter was tasked to the scene about 8.19am, the spokeswoman said.
The man was transported in a stable condition with chest and shoulder injuries to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
