Man ‘alive and conscious’ after being trapped in Lakeside rollover

Emergency crews are at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover near Biggenden where a man has been freed from the wreckage of his vehicle.

Emergency service crews have raced to the scene at Lakeside near Biggenden after a man became trapped in a single-vehicle rollover.

The incident happened about 7.15am on the Maryborough-Biggenden Rd.

A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said the male patient had been extricated from the vehicle after the crash and was alive and conscious.

The exact nature of his injuries was unknown at this time, she said as he was still being assessed by paramedics.

She said one team of paramedics were on the scene and another had been tasked to the crash.
