Hundreds of people are expected to party it up on the streets of Bundaberg as the world gets ready to say goodbye to 2022.

New Year’s Eve events are scheduled across town for Saturday night including a beer run and dollar drops, however no official fireworks are scheduled for the main midnight celebrations.

Places to party the night away:

Bargara Golf Club and Rufus Jack: 9pm onwards

Band Rufus Jack will entertain guests at the Bargara Golf Club NYE night.

‘Beer Mile’ Finemore Tourist Caravan Park: 5pm to 6pm

A costumed running race which challenges competitors to drink four beers before running a 400m metre lap, hosted by the Bundy Road Runners.

Club Central NYE Party

Resident DJ’s will entertain guests at the Club Central NYE party.

Bert’s New Year’s Eve Degustation Dinner 

A six course degustation meal inspired by local produce.

Tickets are required and limited.

Sugarland Tavern and Dogwood Crossing: 9pm onwards

Dogwood crossing will entertain guests at the Sugarland Tavern in what promises to be their “biggest show of the year.”

Bundaberg Services Club “Dollar Drop”: 9.30pm onwards

Hourly dollar drops worth hundreds of dollars along with live music are on offer at the Bundaberg Services Club.

Smooth Velvet at the Waves Sports Club: 8.30pm onwards

A groovy disco theme will be on display at the Waves Sports Club, and guests are encouraged to dress up.

Burnouts, wheelstands: Traffic offenders face court for flouting rules

Family Friendly:

Family fun at the Old Bundy Tavern: 5.30pm onwards

Face painting and balloon twisting will be available for a family friendly night of fun at the Old Bundy Tavern.

Glow Party a the Bundy Bowl and Leisure: 6pm to 10pm

A balloon drop, early NYE countdown and Lucky Door prize are just some of the fun that can be had at the Bundy Bowl and Leisure Center this Saturday.

AMPED Bargara movie night: 7pm

Bring the kids to watch a family friendly movie NYE night at Nielson Park.
