A woman has been flown to hospital after a quad bike rollover that left her trapped for hours in the Bundaberg region.
The woman, aged in her 40s was riding on a private property in New Moonta when her quad bike rolled and pinned her by the leg.
Hours later, her partner found her trapped under the quadbike and raised the alarm with emergency services.
The multi-agency response included the Queensland Ambulance Service, Queensland Fire Department and the Queensland Police Service.
The LifeFlight helicopter landed on a hill close to the incident after being tasked at 5.10pm.
The LifeFlight critical care doctor and flight paramedic worked with local QAS paramedics to treat the patient for a leg injury.
The woman was freed from under the bike and stabilised before being flown to Bundaberg Hospital for further treatment.
